first and last celebration of mooncake festivals at ktt. next year, it's going to be at indon. going to miss this guys... very memorable indeeded. about 60 of us, chinese and indians, jpa sponsored medic and dentistry students came together and celebrated the festival with musical chairs and lanterns, walking up the hill... to the top...it was one of the best moment i have ever had together with my friends. some brought guitar and sang to the girl they fell for...a romantic moment

this time my hair is long enough to go for a third haircut. and it looks much better this time. a different outlook. this proves how vain a man can be... yesterday night the prefect board had a farewell party again, i attended, but this time with a different status, no more a member of the prefect board. it feels awkward as anyone would have expected since you practically don't know who the juniors are and those you know are not those you normally mingle with. so that's left with the few remaining lower six prefects in school. nevertheless, it turned out to be okay since i met my old schoolmates, which was my main objective in the first place---to kill all the birds with one stone. go to one party and meet everybody there better than seeing different people at different venues at different intervals. that's going to be really time and vit.M consuming.

haih...it has been a week here in KTT. hoo...one whole week of orientation. and really sorry for not updating this blog for so long already. yeah, i said i will bring my laptop here...but guess what i was rather doubtful about the security over here on top of the situation that none of my housemates brought their laptop. so i decided to ask my mother to bring it home. finally, i manage to settle down and post a new article. as an appetiser, i came to KTT by taxi, droven by an Indonesian(what a coincidence) and he "rightfully" loses his way. he has no idea where is KTT. anyway, we managed to reach KTT with a whole stomach of irritation. well, there were quite many chinese there. met some Indonesia bound students as well. got Poland, Czech Republic, India and Melaka Manipal. and practically everybody here are excellent students. so somehow pressure is felt over here. the apartment i am staying in is not bad. all my housemates are chinese. very nice people la. initially, it was like hell staying here for the first few days (exactly like NS). but now, it's fun. so many friends over here. ...Denning, Lim, Hao Qi, Hao Ming, Tiw Zhung Shen, Liang Jie, Zhen Yao, Zhen Liang, Kean Seng, John, Douglas, Pau Kat Siong, Wei Bian, Jessie(he's a guy), Yi You, Wei Ming, Mak, Roger, Zul, Qayyum, Yong Yao... great time here. ok, that's it for now. have some issue with privacy over here.

this time, i decided to change a little, to mix with a slightly different company. although kok jie is still a constant. i wanted to give them a treat, but McD ain't cheap. so i only bought a burger for each of us and a french fries as well. the rest...i suggested they share it among themselves...ERGHHH...SO CONTRADICTORY! i just can't believe that i actually did it. i promise i will give them a 100% treat when i start working next time... it's a promise...

Since it’s a non-schooling day, and since I’m kinda free cos I have not officially started school yet, I decided to take part in a scrabbles competition. Underestimating scrabbles as an easy board game and totally taking it for granted…it was something that I have expected out of myself. (hey Chong, you better stop your bad habit of underestimating!!!) As the game progresses, I found myself wrong. I was defeated but still I have Lady Luck to thank for still giving me a third prize. The truth is, only 4 person were competing for the upper secondary level! It was supposed to be more than that, it’s just that the school announced that Saturday is a schooling day and the game was pushed forward, which end up clashing with the “Amazing Race-Keat Hwa version”
It was also a coincidence that Yeoh Thean Jern, the Xiangqi Master was taking part too. For those who have no idea who he is, he emerged 4th in the 14th Asian Xiangqi Championship. Since I never spoke to this personality before, it was a very good encounter and an experience proved to be invaluable. I always had this impression that he was something like a book worm as he looks rather nerdy, and belongs to the passive type. Meeting him today made me change my mind altogether. He didn’t look nerdy and was rather outspoken. The bottom line is he was really good with scrabbles, which contributed to my inferiority and my unusual quietness. His steps…I mean they were like so…planned and highly skilled. And finally, he emerged champion, Han Cheng second. From here, it’s obvious he had the ability to predict something even before it happens, so that actually save the fuss of cleaning the mess after something happens. Very profound…

for any of you guys who were wondering what the heck i was talking about, it was a relative conversing in hakka calling from simpang empat(my grandpa's birthplace) informing my grandma about the death of my grandpa's brother. my grandma started shouting into the phone to ask for more details. according to them, he died after falling into the drain. emotions running high, tensions rise. although i wasn't close to the deceased, but i visited his house every chinese new year. somehow it's someone i have encountered every single year for 18 years. whether or not i am close to him, somewhere in the heart, i still felt the loss of a relative. visiting him every year, i was always welcomed with smiles. he's rather quiet since he's partially deft due to old age. nevertheless, i always felt comfortable during visits to his house. it's a rather sad event. he had heart complications. he suffered the same fate as my grandpa. my grandpa died 20 years ago after suffering a sudden heart attack in the paddy field. he fell in the sawah padi. his brother...in the longkang outside his house. to think about it, life is so unpredictable. our lives are practically hanging on a precarious line. we never know when it's time's up for us...人的生命是如此的脆弱

today is friday. since leonard and me are leaving for kl in july, and shy chi already in matrix, which mean our time together as secondary school mates won't be long. everybody's following their own dreams. while leonard, me and shy chi were more fortunate since we were awarded some kind of scholarships, the rest (cai ping, wan yan, xiang wei and chee sheng) more or less remain in the same geographic entity, it was going to be difficult for us to meet frequently after leonard and me leave. so after some brainstorming on where and when to meet, we have come down with a unanimous decision to meet today at 11a.m. at McDonald, City Plaza. (although shy chi and me was late...but she was later...haha) Below are some photo shoots. by the way, i really gotta say that i look not bad in that red shirt (self-praise is so typical of me), and leonard and chee sheng, very creative and looks good. to xiang wei, burn more calories! haha, just kidding. to the girls, i don't know how to comment on female clothes. sorry...

其实，国民服务计划也是愉快的。在那儿，我认识了很多朋友。生死之交呢？就或许称不上了啦。但是至少我们曾经互相扶持，相依为命。but this is only applicable to some of us. 这是因为华人当中，自私自利的很多个，愿意伸出援手的屈指可数。我较好的朋友有骆庭裕、叶家维、张泳伦、许志坚、谢棕菘、孙伟亮、骆俊宏、ming shen、ming cai、jia yong、 kai xian、 wei hao、 wan ling、 xin jie、 zen ling、 pei shan、 rui fang、zul(睡我床边的那个马来朋友。讲实话，他真的很照顾我。虽然他抽烟，但是他很友善，很愿意帮助别人。)apih(跟我同房的那个吉兰丹马来人。他很好。他跟zul一样都是好的马来人。他有很强的宗教观念，是我们营地company alfa 的ustaz)、Nathan(跟我较友好的印度人。也是好人一个。他在元宵节那晚，跳的印度舞很geng！) below are some of my memories in ns camp.

国民服务计划

从国民服务计划营回来那么旧，都没有把它记载在我的部落落。我想不管那个经验是愉快的还是悲哀的，它仍然拥有它值得一提的一点。二零零七年三月十一日那天，国民服务计划正式结束。然而，我一滴泪也没流，同时我也不觉得有什么值得流泪的地方。对我来说，被选中参加国民服务计划只是人生一个小小的阶段。更何况，在营地中，我也遭受了一个人持续不断的侮辱、糟蹋，而我选择了容忍，整整容忍了两个多月。我和几个朋友闲聊的时候，发现到原来我不是唯一的受害者。后来，通过他的朋友，我们才知道原来他身世复查，双亲已离婚，家庭问题很多。他在我人生中可说是扮演了相当重要的绝色。我不会讨厌他，反倒，我还想要感激他，感激他磨练了我的耐性。所以，在我忘记你的名字之前，让我在此对你说声：谢谢你，郭政业。

finally i got my JPA, and it's the course i wanted, MEDICINE...but it's in ....indonesia??? i don't know whether to feel happy or not. my grandma and auntie have been so excited imagining me finally given an oppertunity to further my tertiary education in the prestigious Ireland or Australia, or maybe worse come to worst, India, at least it's still better than Indonesia by at least, i don't know...a hundred times? to look on the positive side of it, i am one of the 180 non-malays in malaysia being selected for this JPA scholarship and obtaining this notoriously popular course desired by students from all over the country who always counted on JPA scholarship to realise their dreams of becoming a doctor. people surrounding me are saying that i am so fortunate to be selected, that i am so lucky to get my dream course. honestly, i think i should be feeling that way, but ironically i don't, not at all. should i be grateful to the government for reserving a place for me? i guess not especially when the situation now is some "people" with lousier results than mine actually manage to secure a place in ireland, australia, india.... this is so unfair. but, you know what, the world is never fair. remember how our parents always urge us to be fair to others? it's so unrealistic. you want to kesian others? kesian yourselve first la!

the "F" factor

I really don’t know what to say anymore. I have promised myself to be less possessive and obsessive towards my friends anymore. It shouldn’t have affected my mood if I had been successful. I just hate it. Now, it’s affecting me, causing unnecessary negative emotions, adversely impacting my life. All this while, it has always been an uphill challenge for me to completely control this particular aspect of my life. Why can’t I just be immune to it after several times of disappointment? Now, I am disappointed of myself. I thought that with every event unfolding one after one another, I would have grown more matured and competent at tackling such issues. But apparently it didn’t happen. This group of people have always been such a headache until I just don’t wish to address them with the word beginning with “f”. Sometimes, I just prefer to retire to the fact that I am basically socialising with them, more of networking than being true towards each other. Moreover, this society has always been rather hypocritical and cruel. Best friends, there are none. Good friends, none either. Just friends. I just categorise them according to the level of comfort I have when I am with them. Well, it might help to think that I am after all the most important one, the deciding factor. So let’s not be bothered about these people.

P.S: To some extent, complete ignorance is still not readily accessible for my human brain. I guess that’s one good point that makes me humane after all. Nonetheless, I won’t give a second thought towards my endeavour to be even more immune, even better INHUMANE.

十年之约

六个月前，健豪曾经跟我讲起“十年之约” 这个话题。他说欣颖和祥义至少要十年后才会结婚。现在想起来还觉得有点滑稽。其实，十年后，不只是欣颖和祥义有可能结婚，很多事情也会随光阴的逝去而改变。大家的友情也会随之淡化。到时，大家再碰面的时候，是否还能像现在一样顺手拈来就是有许许多多说不完的话题？你我之间是不是会存着隔膜？什么“友谊永固” 、“友谊万岁” 很多时候都是随口说说而已。真的会有“友谊永固” 这回事吗？我怀疑。SPM 终于完毕了。两年来的辛劳血汗都是为了应付它。可它却存在着什么意义？为了荣获全科A1？我不知道。

5A1 class party

haih....it's over...it's so fast...hope it will never end...but it did nevertheless.
last night was zhong qiu jie, the mooncake festival, it was also more importantly...our 5A1 2006 class party. class party was FREAKINGLY fun. i don't know...having difficulties describing. it is always so when it's about my secondary school life, isn't it huh? i am going to keep it short. otherwise, i am going to be a "lao ah pek" very soon. lol.
class party was held at khey junn's house. he is the son of ASRC owner, and shall be inheriting his father's business in few years to come (i guess), and he is once again more importantly...our tall, dark, handsome, responsible, always-smiling, no temper, sporting monitor. i guess khey junn is one of the best monitors i have met during my five years of secondary school life. he was very sporting last night, totally in his element when playing the guitar singing...what, can't remember what's the song title. but aiya, i didn't get the chance to look at see pei's eyes. they said she was totally CAPTIVATED by khey junn when he played the guitar. isn't it obvious that she likes him?
and yeah, i also took the golden opportunity to drive around alor star fetching five other passengers (bak how, quiet hoh, vegetarian tiee, childish hung, cool gee)---(jian how, chee hoh, yiee tiee, chi hung, seong gee). and very unfortunately, my car "xi hui" three times when reversing. you know why? (it takes a lot of courage to admit that, you know?) cos i didn't press the accelarator. OK, LET ME REALLY CLARIFY THIS. normally, i only fetch at most three passengers, and therefore, without pressing the accelarator, the car will still move. but now, since there are five passengers, hence i have to step on the accelerator, so that the car will move, i didn't know that. --thank you seong gee, had it not been for your timely tips, i would have stuck there till someone help us out.
nevertheless, i really enjoyed the whole class party and the whole year that we had been through together as members of 5A1. i had a good time and thank you so much to each and everyone of you for making my day.

school has been really cool lately. just last saturday, school started the rendition of songs and musics (keat hwa fm)--- probably with one agenda : to bridge the gap between the strict authoritative conservative Chinese school administration with the heavily pressured kiasu academically-obssessed students of Keat Hwa. i was shocked that day. i couldn't believe what i heard. trendy musics...hitz songs...had i entered the wrong school? no songs other than the typical boring meaningless formal rendition of the national anthem had i ever heard from the school...
"Negaraku... tanah tumpahnya darahku... raja kita... "(suddenly feel a sense of patriotism-vomiting...
nonetheless, it was a good start. at least, the atmosphere in school is not that tensed.
and just today, jogathon.
wow, i thoroughly enjoyed it. it was damn fun. the school organised this event to collect funds to employ teachers and wanted each student to collect at least RM 50 and threatened not to give us the leaving school cert if we fail to do so (everybody knows it's not real...save it for your ownself, Mr Chow). students who collected at least RM 50 were allowed to take part in the jogathon. and so did i (my parents didn't know about it. i bet you will keep it a secret too if your parents are paranoid...gah!) it's really a challenge for me since the last time i exercise was two months ago. in the morning, the school invited someone from the fitness centre in penang to conduct the warming up process before we start to run. that was damn fun...i will really regret it if i didn't go to school today. after that, someone from the PIBG wave the flag down and "GO!" initially, it was leonard, chi sheng, yee khai, chee hoh, li pang, kok jie and me...and then after some time, the distance between us become wider and wider. kok jie was left behind, leonard and chi sheng took the lead, yee khai and me slowed down and we increased our rest time.
run-stop-run-stop... i never know it's so tiring. after some 5.5 km, we finally reached. wow, what a relieve.
then there was this lucky draw. i didn't get any of those. God / Buddha is fair. if i am fated not to get those lucky draws, i am going to get something else...in my case, probably better luck in my SPM exam. (i feel so much better now)
it's been a long day. i hope there's a another jogathon. it's so damn fun. but...that's not going to happen anytime soon. well as a consolation, at least, it leaves a sweet memory for me before i leave Keat Hwa.

this is from yi heng, 煜恒, our present 2006/2007 head prefect. he sounds like a nice person...in fact...he is Mr Nice Guy. i can't remember when he said this...oh yeah, i remember it's during the last time we form 5 seniors kumpul. yeah, three years past and i am not going to repeat the cherish-and-appreciate whole thing again. it's getting boring. HALO & HORN, according to yi heng, is an impression people have for you when they first met you. it's something like first impression. he kinda emphasised on the importance of it and blah...blah...blah...being a good prefect although already retire all those stuffs la.
well, i understand first impression is important and will of course uphold my image and integrity as a prefect all time. i think i said that before. anyway, my main aim was to write this to make me remember that there is someone by the name ooi yi heng who was once my senior, and then boy d, last but not least head prefect.

SP, don't get me wrong, it's not Sungai Petani, it's See Pei. another interesting character in my life, more precisely...school life. so what about her attracts me? don't get me wrong. i am not one of those PERVERTS who are constantly scouting for pretty babes with terrific body shape. then again, i don't mean that this particular individual that i am going to be talking about is ugly and possess a pear-shaped body. not at all, she is a sweet girl complete with distinguished characters. the first thing i felt about this girl here is she is very friendly and approachable, not like some girls who although are indeed good-looking, have one of the most annoying level of arrogance on their faces and don't regard others of the same heritage as human beings. (to guys out there, you are bound to meet such girls in society. take my advice, don't date them and DON'T DON'T EVER MARRY them or your life will be RUINED!) alright, i am talking too much craps. let's get back to the main topic. remember xanga and chloey? and the romantic affair between them, see pei is actually the chloey i am talking about. she is the one xanga most probably like and his strong preference for her shows it all. i don't know...but see pei is down-to-earth and is unique in her own way. how is she unique? she will laugh out loud without covering her mouth the moment someone said something funny, unlike other girls who like to kei xi kei xi close their mouth, try to act like very demure and polite. and see pei is definitely not one of these girls. HELL NO. yeah, she also has the right taste for clothings. her clothes are always so matching. there is not once she looks like a typical ah lian in a "poker dot" blause with a yellow background. the clothes always seem so fitting on her. PERFECT. whatmore, there is this TANNED skin covering her entire body. the striking tan. the TYRA BANK's tan. enjoy yourself while with her. she can entertain you well with her rolling eyes. after all this, someone out there as IGNORANT(you can't understand how frustrating it can be sometimes!) as chong x x or Pxxxxxe will jump to a conclusion that i have fell for her. before that SOMEONE actually opens his or her mouth and causes a stir, let me clarify that these are simply praises for an interesting girl whom i think will be successful in her life.

it's over. my three years as a prefect in PBOKH finally comes to an end. wierd though, i was supposed to feel relieved that alas i have time for my studies. but no, i did not feel that way at all. i felt empty. there will be no more duties for me and fellow form 5 prefects in a week's time. somewhat, i start to appreciate the time i dutied. i always thought duties were troublesome and was constantly thinking of tricks to skip my duties for the past 3 years. imagine...3 YEARS...and i was no where near an examplary prefect. no...i was irresponsible, consistently sticking to the mentality that my presence was nothing more than just obtaining a certifcate to acquire easier access into tertiary institutions. during my form 4 year, everybody started to vie for positions as future SCM's and EXCOM's, not excluding me. i never worked hard or put in any effort except during the rotating week and i was NAIVE enough to think that i was better than anybody elses. and then later, i somewhat realised i was not standing a chance at all to be even an EXCOM. i was so frustrated and angry they didn't pick me. eventually, i decided that since they were not going to recognise my "effort", i was not going to give any coorperation either. so, that was when i started my life as a lousy prefect, until just recently.
i was wrong, so...so...so...WRONG. i was too obssessive over social status, wealth, power and fame all this while, and in this aspect, a position in an organisation. i was not diligent enough and yet i thought highly of myself. that is what i call EGO. people who know me are aware that i am very much OVERCONFIDENT and is highly self-esteemed. i wouldn't sacrificed my face even to ask a simple question. thanks to SHEE VEN, she awakened me. i was inspired by her words and actions. in the end, the bottom line is still fulfilling my responsibilities and upholding my integrity as a prefect and not grumbling over why i didn't get a post. the time has arrived for me to shed off my responsibilities and yet...found it hard to let go. i took my yesteryears as a prefect for granted. i regretted i did not do my part. it's too late now. i have retired and there are chances that i may not be entering form 6 after all. i realised how much i love the Prefect Board...how much i love wearing the white uniform with a tie around my neck...and a badge pinned to the shirt bearing the word "PREFECT"...and all the privileges i was honoured.................and yet...i never appreciate. being a prefect is one of the best thing that had ever happened to me. if given a chance to do it again, i swear i will be a responsible prefect...even if i am not literally recognised. maybe this sounds fake to some of you but honestly, these are words form my inner heart.
to those new SCM's and EXCOM's who has just been selected, i hope you guys carry out your duties well and safeguard the board's image not because you are the ketua of xxx or even because of the certificate, do it because you are a member of the Prefect Board of Keat Hwa. to those who are not selected, don't even follow my footsteps or you will end up regretting. do everything opposite of me and you will realised in the end what matters most is you have carried out your duties as a prefect well and realising how much you have GAINED by putting aside your PERSONAL GAIN.

Sungai Petani, here we come! the state level parliamentary debate was due in SMK Ibrahim in SP> this time, it was me going up, replacing chi hung. from the start, it was like i once, chi hung once, while weijian and leonard remains. they are the best, so they got to represent the school for each round. not forgetting pei loon, he is a great researcher and generates lots of good ideas too. the journey there proved to be exciting. Mr Anuar drove us there in his spacious UNSER together with Azmi, the person in charge of taking videos. the whole journey was COOL MAN! the five of us inside there fooling around, easing the loooooming tension as we km-ed closer and closer towards SP. nevermind that, we really enjoyed ourselves.
on reaching SMK Ibrahim, as expected, we were the only chinese team around. kinda wierd huh, especially for a chinese school to represent Kota Star district in a Malay State Level Parliamentary Debate Competition. the organiser was crazier this time. they only let us know whether we were the "kerajaan" or the "pembangkang" one hour before the competition starts. next, they quarantined us inside a room to discuss among ourselves. the first round was nothing la...PEANUTS! = VICTORY=LONG LIVED KEAT HWA!
progressing to the second round, heard pei loon said that our next opponent in the afternoon, SMK Agama Sik were quite good.
"This is not going to be easy!"

THE BATTLE BEGINS
guess what, they underestimated us. they sent out a weaker first debater. oh, how "RIGHT" they were, again with the aura of injustice lurking around us. we were bound to lose no matter how good our performance were. yeah, we lose in the end. the fact is they just don't want us to win. obviously, we outshone them. and they obviously choose not to face the fact. summary: the world is NEVER FAIR.
anyway, i am used to injustice and unfairness. what can i say, i am in malaysia, just got to get used to it.
PENGGULUNGAN:
during the two-weeks process, just like any competition that requires team work, conflicts are bound to happen. and sure it did. we quarelled, we cursed, we swore. but in the end, we still make up to each other. i truly appreciate the friendship between the five of us. the whole debate thing bonded us together. after spm, that is around seven months from now, we will go our separate ways and won't be able to meet each other that often anymore. that's why i truly cherish our friendship. last but not least: FRIENDSHIP FOREVER

as a consolation though, we were advancing to the state level, with lady luck on our side. (to weijian, we have lost the final round of the district level, do you still have the confidence in winning the national one? think again...) we took picture though with the runner up price, faking a smile on our faces. lame... didn't have the mood at all, you know...suddenly losing. by the way, the organiser of the competition must be a crazy one. every rounds are so close to each other. for the first day, we have to compete twice, and the third round is two days day later, and the final round is 24 hour after the second round. so, you can imagine how stressful the competition is.and then we have only an afternoon and an evening for a short rest before getting back to the battle grounds. and the next day, the principal asked to see us in the presence of all the PK's and Guru Kanan's and the teachers in charge. how glamarous. it's like suddenly shining in significance. suddenly becoming the school asset. it felt great. the principal himself granted us the permission of entering bilik rujukan the whole day so that to have a thorough preparation. (the principal was popular for his kiasuism) and at the same time sending teachers to help us write the script. how great! i have never been honoured like that before.we came back on fridays and saturdays to prepare too. it demanded a whole lot of us both physically and mentally. it's already two weeks and we haven't really got a good rest. honestly, i think leonard suffer the most. cos he is from jitra and with all the transportation issues, it was difficult for him. he and weijian contributed the most. that's for sure. while frankly i think chi hung, pei loon and myself were just fooling around.just like any process which requires teamwork, our team were nevertheless not free from conflicts between the team members.

eye-opener

oh Buddha! what an experience! so challenging yet at the same time maintaining a high level of fun. really missed the whole process. it was not just a process, it was a tremendously exciting, life altering two-weeks process. before this, did not have the time to write about this all because of that stupid exam la! sorry, guys. this year is most probably my last year in keat hwa. you know... the after-the-SPM-and-going-separate-ways thing, so...really have to cherish every moment i have in school before leaving the whole exam-oriented system. don't want to have that sort of "if i had...wouldn't have been..." stuffs. don't want that to happen to me.our debate team were made up of chi hung, leonard, weijian, pei loon and myself. imagine yeah...an all boys debate team, kinda wierd huh especially when you are in keat hwa (a mixed school). what can i say, our year is seriously lacking of the opposite sex talents! anyway, at first, i don't know if we were lucky or not to be able to have weijian and chi hung joining us. these two geniuses (ATTENTION:THERE ARE NO LAZY GENIUSES IN THIS WORLD) yeah...these two geniuses...they are just so over-confident and very "zi lian" to the extent of visualising us emerging victorious in the national level final round. oh my G/B, for goodness sake, we were just in the district level and considering they are not aware, this is a MALAY parliamentary debate. you expect us to win through the TINTED GLASSES of some particular individuals who call themselves JUDGES!!?? sounds absurd huh? anyway, we did our best for the first three rounds, and it's VICTORY for us, beating the opponents FLAT! (tengku malik, al-bukhari, teknik stadium) you wouldn't know how we feel. we had beaten three Malay Students from Malay Schools who for sure Malay is their mother tongue. we, on the other hand, Malay as our second or third language won. oh, how encouraging.later, we had a look at the next opponent that we are going to meet in the final round. you wouldn't believe how lucky we were. the match between SAINA and KOLEJ was damn intense. both were good. BATTLE OF THE SEXES. three boys versus three girls. alas, SAINA won.and then, chi hung told me that we were going to represent Kota District whether we win or not the next day. the reason given: SAINA is a sekolah asrama, therefore could not represent the district. how exciting huh? but of course that means slowing down a little unknowingly. and guess what, the next day we lose to our opponents. and honestly, it's not because of unfairness, it was because we were not as good as them. (it's true. and we can't never deny that fact)

wow...what can i say? a great show. deserves a BAND 1. another Jack Neo's film, probably the best show he has ever produced. i wouldn't compare it to Money No Enough. although it generates the highest gross-earnings in singapore, i still think that i not stupid too is his best show up till now. strikes a chord deep inside me, moved me to tears, leaving the deepest impression i ever have for movies, readjusting my yardstick. imagine how great the impact the show can have on me? words can't describe my feelings. i not stupid too circles around the theme of communication breakdown between parents and teenagers set in fast-paced singapore. it's about two teenagers (acted by Joshua Ang and Shawn Lee) who lack family love who were unable to find comfort in their own family and later got involved in petty crimes and at last snatching a necklace from an old lady. it was not until then that their parents started realising how wrong they were from the beginning till the end, how they fail as parents. sounds familiar? of course. it happens so often in our daily life. we teenagers get so frustrated wtih our parents for being unreasonable all the times. they always said that "Kids are meant to be HEARD, not SEEN" then, we will say that they are old-fashioned, orbit and orbiang. remember that? nevermind the old-fashioned thing. let's talk about the show and the actors. yeah...the actors. let's start with Shawn Lee and Joshua Ang. they grew up to be the most bankable teenage lads in present singapore. well, what can i say, they not only have the looks, they too are very good in acting too, especially the emotional part, where you see them shed tears, especially Joshua. you know, it's kinda difficult to shed tears especially for guys. you got to be really involved then only you can really shed tears. the part where the "ah soh" (i don't know what her name is) scolding cheng cai, also very emotional. you can see her shaking in tears. as usual, Jack Neo's movie are always peppered with the local singlish and hokkien comedy. the humourous part is especially effective the part where Selena Tan act as the principal. she is very cute (probably because she is fat) and adorable. i also like the part where the "ah ma" speaking in hokkien. very funny la! don't know how to say! once again, Jack Neo presents us with a great movie, but this time a highly-moral-valued one. i strongly recommends everybody to see it cos it's going to make you a better person.
